This year, the *Pyramid Concert is dedicated to the memory of Ms. Erica Hirt. The concert is free and open to all members of the community. Please refresh your browser at the time of the concert to access the live recording. Videos of the recording can be downloaded from the Herndon High School Band YouTube Channel . From the Class of 2026: The Senior Class of 2026 first had the opportunity to participate in Area Band as 5th graders in the spring of 2019. Some were selected and began preparing to perform in the Pyramid Concert in 2020, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic. For the next two years, the Pyramid Concert remained on hold before it was finally able to return. Band has always been a collaborative program, where seniors and underclassmen often share the same class and perform together in marching and concert bands. Through these shared experiences, students build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community within the band. Ms. Erica Hirt, who was actively involved with the Pyramid Concert, designed tuxedo t-shirts for all Area Band members, which we wore at the 2019 Pyramid Concert with pride as being part of the selected group playing with the older students. At this concert, members of the Herndon High School Wind Ensemble will wear pins featuring Ms. Hirt’s tuxedo shirts in her memory.

- Winter Concert 2025
You can find the Winter Concert 2025 program on our events page here Welcome to the Winter Concert—the first concert of the year where all Pride of Herndon concert bands come together in the Herndon High School auditorium to share the music they’ve been working hard to prepare. One of the most cherished Herndon traditions is the performance of Sleigh Ride, where current students are joined by alumni who return with their instruments to sit and play side-by-side with the Herndon High School musicians. It’s a moment that connects generations of Herndon band members and celebrates the lasting bond of this community. The Herndon High School Band sincerely thanks the families, alumni, and the Herndon community for their continued support. Enjoy the music, and happy holidays!
