TERMS OF USE

Welcome to the Pride of Herndon Marching Band website (“Site”), operated by the Herndon High School Band Parents Association (“HHSBPA”).

 

By using this Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

 

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to misuse the Site or interfere with its proper operation.

 

2. Purchases and Donations

All sales of tickets and merchandise are final. Refunds are not provided except on a case-by-case basis for merchandise issues. Donations are non-refundable. Payments are processed through Wix Stores and PayPal. For donations, users are redirected to the PayPal Charitable Giving Fund and are subject to PayPal’s Giving Fund Donor Terms of Service found at https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/givingfund/policies/donor-terms-of-service.

 

3. User Accounts and Data

Users may create accounts and log in to the Site. The Site stores user information but does not retain credit card data. Payment processing is handled by Wix and PayPal.

 

4. User Submissions

Users may submit comments on blog posts. All interactions must comply with the Fairfax County Public Schools guidelines, available on the FCPS Digital Citizenship site. The HHSBPA reserves the right to remove any content or user account that violates these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate. 

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including logos, images, text, and designs, is owned by HHSBPA or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any materials without permission.

 

6. Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services including the Wix platform, Wix Restaurant Orders, Wix Events & Tickets, Wix Stores, PayPal, and the PayPal Giving Fund. Once redirected to third-party sites, you agree to abide by their terms. HHSBPA is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these external services.

 

7. Changes to Terms

The Herndon High School Band and its operators may update these Terms of Use at any time without notice. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HHSBPA shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to the use of the Site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
