Fundraising
Throughout the school year the Herndon Band program participates in multiple fundraisers which help to support our band programs. Some of these fundraisers are:
Tag Day Saturday, September 10

This is our biggest fundraiser for the year. This is an all-day event, mandatory to all band students, and is parent volunteers dependent (drivers and area hosts).Band students go door-to-door handing out information about the band while asking for donations to support the band program.
Showcase - 25th anniversary Saturday, September 24

This is a Marching Competition hosted by The Pride of Herndon, with more than 20 participating bands from around the region. It is an all-day event and our largest activity. Fundraising for this event includes Concessions, Tickets, Program Ad sales.
Holiday Greens - a 40+ year tradition October

The online sale of these high-quality greens starts in October and are delivered right after Thanksgiving. Choice of Direct Delivery (to an address) or Local Delivery (picked up and delivered by band families). Promotional materials (links, images, QR codes, sales email) will be provided to help spread the word.
Citrus Sales Winter

Another long running tradition, currently on hold due to both supplier and volunteer shortage. If you are interested in taking on or help with this fundraiser, email fundraising@herndonband.org. HHSBPA will assist as needed.
Harris Teeter Throughout the year
