Showcase A student

We are offering the opportunity to showcase a student or alumni in the online program. Choose from the below image sizes to support your favorite performer, alumni, or musician. You can see examples in last year's program. 

 

  • Full Page - $50  

  • Half page - $25  

  • 1/4 Page - $15  

 

Dimensions: A full page letter sheet is 8.5 x11, half page would be 8.5 x 5.5, and quarter page would be 4.25 x 5.5​​​

Deadline for submission and payment is September 18th, 2026

 

Payment can be made using the payment form or other options at the bottom of this page.  You can upload your ad using the order form or email it to showcaseads@herndonband.org in a jpg or pdf format. If you need design help, check the box on the order form or indicate the need in your email.  Pictures taken by our band photographers may be downloaded from our Flickr account.

Use a Canva Template to Create Your Ad

How to Use an Ad Template: 

Click the template link and select View template, then log in to Canva using a free account. After logging in, click Open in Editor.

Photo:

  1. On the left-hand side menu, click Uploads. Upload a clear, high-resolution photo—use the original image, not a screenshot.

  2. Drag the photo directly onto the photo frame (the green hills and blue sky image).

  3. When the frame highlights and the photo “snaps” into place, release it.

  4. Once the photo is in the frame, if you need to reposition or crop the photo, double-click the photo, then click Done.

 

Text:

Double-click to update these three text boxes:

  • Student name

  • Message

  • Supporter name(s)

 

Once complete, select Share → Download → PDF Print → Download.

Attach the completed PDF to your online ad order form on the Herndon Band website.

If you would like to use a Canva ad template, but are not able to access Canva or need assistance, please email the picture and text you would like in the ad to graphicdesign@herndonband.org.
