Competition - South County HS

Saturday 9/20 – Competition at South County (See 9_20 POH Competition PDF for details)

• 11:45 am Eat Lunch before arrival.

  • Report in marching shoes, black socks, show shirts.

  • Battery under overhang. All others are set up in the stadium.

• 1:00 pm Begin loading front ensemble and props onto trucks

  • Change into uniform

• 2:00 pm Load school busses; eat snacks on the bus

• 2:15 pm Depart for South County         

• 3:10 pm Arrive at South County HS; Pass out shakos/plumes; Unload instruments/equipment

• 4:45 pm Perform

  • After performing, return to the equipment truck. Pack instruments. Help Parents!

  • Change out of uniforms into show shirts.

  • Visit concessions (bring money for dinner) and watch other bands. Sit together as a band in the visitor stands

• 7:15 pm Awards - Drum Majors and Captains

• 8:15 pm Depart for Herndon HS

• ~9:15 pm Dismiss from Herndon HS
