The Pride of Herndon lost an important member of the band family in December of 2025.  Braden (Class of 2016) was a vibrant musician and artist. Joining the Wind Ensemble as a freshman trombonist, he was a versatile performer who frequently stepped in on piano and percussion. Braden’s leadership was felt throughout the marching band, where he served as both Executive Officer and Drum Major, and was a featured soloist in the 2015 “Rain or Shine” marching show. Beyond the music wing, Braden was an Eagle Scout and co-leader of the band’s Relay for Life team. Known as a friend to all, he was a constant, welcoming presence in the Pride.

 

​To honor him, the full marching band and alumni performed a surprise concert outside his home on October 11, 2025, just one day after his birthday.
