All-Virginia ensembles

 

We had three students perform FABULOUSLY at their auditions, and have now been accepted to the All-Virginia ensembles!

 

  • Senior Jacob Reeves is third chair percussion in the entire state.  Virginia has 16 districts, and only the top  percussionists from each district may audition for a spot.  He beat 75 other students at JMU this past Saturday morning.

  • Sophomore James Adams is the principal percussionist for the second band, ranking 12th in the state.

  • Sophomore Emma Rood is first chair harp for the second year in a row

 

 

The All-Virginia Concert is Saturday, April 9 at GMU.  It is free.  The groups will be performing:

The Orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Kathleen Horvath, Case Western Reserve University
