Spring After-School Rehearsal Schedule - Symphonic and Concert Bands
Starting in January, Symphonic and Concert Bands will have additional after school rehearsals in order to prepare for District Band Festivals. These events are comparable to the SOL tests in academic classes. Please note the rehearsal schedules for your specific section — attendance is mandatory.

Participation at these rehearsals will be considered a TEST GRADE.
Excused absence: You must have a NOTE from your parents and give it to Ms. Bonneau no later than THE DAY BEFORE THE REHEARSAL. You will then be required to make an electronic recording of yourself playing all of the band music, which will be graded as a test.
Failure to attend without an excused absence: You will have to make an electronic recording of yourself playing all of the band music - which will be graded as a test, you will LOSE 5 rehearsal skills points, and you may be moved down one chair in your section.
