Lindell Palmer, Color Guard and Visual Designer

Lindell Palmer.  Lindell Palmer has been involved in the color guard activity for over fourteen years.  He began performing with the Park View High School Color Guard of South Hill, VA and later marched Revelation Winter Guard of Richmond, VA (WGI A-Class Finalist 2000).  He has served as the director of the Stonewall Jackson Winter Guard Ensemble (AIA A3 Gold Medalist 2008) and as a choreographer for Chantilly High School (AIA A3 Bronze Medalist 2007).  In addition, Mr. Palmer has been a staff member of Herndon's own Act 1 Winter Guard (WGI A-Class Finalist 2006) since 2005 when the organization began.  He has also served as an adjudicator for the DC Dixie Classic Music Festival and has worked on the design team of numerous guard programs across Virginia.

Mr. Palmer received his Bachelor of Arts from The College of William and Mary and his Master of Fine Arts from American University.  He resides in Northern Virginia and teaches Creative Writing and AP Literature at Fauquier High School.
