Get your daubers out!  The annual Band Bingo Night is Friday, February 26th between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.  It's an evening filled with fun, friends and prizes and is something the whole family can enjoy.

We need your help to make this event happen and there are many volunteer opportunities available.  Please email one of the committees below to offer assistance:
Family Food for Four and Bingo Cards

Prize Baskets

Each class (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) will create a basket filled with fabulous items that are used as prizes for Bingo games.  This year, to make it easy, we ask every student to contribute $5.00 and the Bingo Committee will purchase the prizes for the baskets.  Please donate $5.00 - checks only made out to HHSBPA - in an envelope marked Bingo Class Basket.  Please write "Bingo Class Basket" and the Class Year on the check.  Checks should be put in the Red Box before the end of school Friday, February 12th.

Did You Know ... Bingo started in Italy with a game called Lo Giuoco del Lotto D'Italia, in 1530.  It moved to France in late 1770's and  was called LeLotto.  The Germans then used it to help students learn academics.  In 1929 it became known as Beano when it was first played at a carnival near Atlanta, Georgia.  New York toy salesman Edwin S. Lowe renamed it to Bingo after he overheard someone accidentally yell Bingo instead of Beano.  He hired a Columbia University math professor, Carl Leffler, to help him increase the number of combinations in bingo cards.  By 1930, Leffler had invented 6,000 different bingo cards.  It is said that Leffler then went insane.
