Thank you to the 52 students who auditioned for our 64 member Wind Ensemble. I heard many wonderfully prepared pieces and scales, and I am so proud of the countless hours of practice that went into making that happen.
Please remember these things:
1) Just because you didn't make it in doesn't mean you didn't have a great audition. Some sections had over FOUR times the needed number of students audition as there were spots available!
2) Just because you did make it in doesn't mean you are necessarily better than people who didn't - there might have been a greater need for your instrument!
3) I have many notes from your audition, and I'd be happy to discuss them with you at any time.
4) Names are not listed in any order.
I look forward to an all time strong program - we are lucky to have amazing players in ALL of our performing ensembles next year!!
